Alexis Wilkins, girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel, has filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against conservative podcaster Elijah Schaffer. Wilkins accuses Schaffer of spreading false claims that she is an Israeli spy, specifically a “Mossad honeypot agent” sent to manipulate and compromise Patel. The lawsuit follows a series of conspiracy theories circulated by MAGA influencers alleging Wilkins’s ties to Israeli intelligence.
Wilkins, a 27-year-old American-born country singer, denies the accusations, highlighting that she has no foreign intelligence connections and has never visited Israel. The claims have deeply affected her personal life, exposing her and her family to harassment and doxxing.
The lawsuit was filed in the Southern District Court of Florida on October 28, 2025. It alleges that Schaffer’s retweet of a post and other social media activity perpetuated a malicious narrative designed to draw attention and damage her reputation. Schaffer has denied directly accusing Wilkins but maintains the lawsuit is baseless.
Wilkins has also initiated defamation lawsuits against other MAGA figures, including former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin and Senate candidate Sam Parker, for similar conspiracy-related posts.
The case underscores the growing intersection of politics, misinformation, and social media, as well as the personal toll on individuals connected to high-profile government officials.
